Birthday Parties and House Sitting

Well, my birthday party was a lot of fun... it was kind of sad that not many people stayed over, but I guess that's what you get when you're friends with a whole bunch of church attending christians :P haha. (and that is definitely not a bad thing). There was an amazing amount of food, whoa man. I think most people enjoyed this cake that I made, so this is excellent.

Ian woke up early this morning and made breakfast for Sandra and me... it was really good and lots of it! And he even did the dishes! (for I was told to go back to bed :P) It was really, really, really, really nice of him :o)

I think that there will (hopefully) be another sleep-over weekend sometime around the second weekend of July! So people can sleep in tents, inside, in a tent trailer or in this treehouse! It shall be exciting.

It's pretty cool, for one of my neighbours phoned this afternoon about looking after her house for part of July and August... I've never house-sat, but I think that it would be pretty cool!!! I phoned back (for I was at work when she phoned) so hopefully she's still looking for someone!

Well, as you can see, I've been fiddling around with colours and stuff... Please tell me what you think!

YAY! I managed to survive first year! Amazing!! Now let's just hope that the marks come back alright (maybe not so much after the programming test of doom and talking to people and realizing that I made some *really* dumb mistake on my chem and calculus finals *sad day*).

Anyways, now that I have no finals, I must finally work on my talk...
Question: what does the bible mean to you?

Oh, just because I'm full of questions today, how on earth does one make a title? This is one thing I haven't been able to figure out...

Have a great day!

You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly!
Way to go! Thank you so much for taking my test. I hope you enjoyed it!

Wow. Isn't that exciting. Well hopefully I'm a genius at C++ for my exam tomorrow :P That may be slighty too much to ask. Haha.

Well the last exam is tomorrow! I'm excited! I'm going to Carl's house with a bunch of other tomorrow before the exam to "chillax" before the exam... then I'm going to Liz's house for chocolate fondue and potentially movies! excited! Hopefully on wednesday, I can convince Ian to do something, before I have to work on thursday...I'm excited.

Well, here I am. 1 hour until my chem final and I survived my physics final this morning. Some day I shall go into a final as if I'm off to go to war... (medieval style). I'm sure that some exams it will be a battle with the paper. Physics, not so much, it was confusing and aggrevating, but hopefully there are no gaping battle wounds.

I had a very... weird experience today. As I was walking home from the exam, there was this old man writing down house numbers on a pad of paper and he started to talk to me. He talked about grandparents and canvassing. When I said that I needed to cross the road (for this was the way that I went) I shook his hand and wished him a good day, but he proceeded to ask me what I was studying, to which I answered "engineering" and, well, I haven't seen anyone this happy in a really long time. He went on to show me his iron ring, then told me a story of a picture he has of a stork carrying a frog, with the intention of eating the frog, but the frog was strangling the stork and the caption being "Never give up". He then looked at me and said "Never give up. I won't wish you luck, but lady, I wish you success." and with this, he walked off and I crossed the street.

There are ideas in the making for a Birthday Bonfire to take place. Stay tuned for details.
