Lexicon of Bean
To further the procrastination....
I, Bean, present Part One (of potentially many) of the Lexicon of Me. Its purpose is to hopefully give the confused a small window of light on my way of speaking. Thus, with no further adieu (in no particular order):
Yay!: Usually used to exclaim much excitement/anticipation/enjoyment. However, when used in a dead pan or sarcastic voice, the opposite is meant.
Sad Day!: Means a day of much sadness. When said in a pathetic tone, a travesty has befallen.
Gumpy: Something that is gumpy is something that is out of the ordinary/weird and that something may look/feel/be somewhat disgusting.
Frumpy: Frumpy like old lace on old frumpy ladies - outdated, off colour, grumpy, irritable, ansty.
Glomp: The noise that slugs make. Last year when I was happily attempting to do caculus on the day that we learned that the imperial unit of mass is a slug, I doodled a picture of a slug and it went *glomp*. (Glompy - of feeling like a slug)
Flomp: Convienently borrowed from Ian. It means a great desire to rotate yourself to a horizontal orientation. *flomp* is the sound that a soft surface (ie. a bed or couch) makes when it action is taken. (Flompy - of feeling like you need to horizontal)
Grumbly: Not very pleased at all with a current situation and many noises are made about it.
Grumble-tastic: A way of describing a grumbly situation.
Bloody: The best word you use to express ones displeasure/annoyance/anger at something. Tack 'bloody' in as every second word for special effect.
Indeed: An exciting way of saying "I agree." Especially when a 3 year old child says it and has no idea what it means.
Exciting: One of the best ways of expressing anticipation/enjoyment in something is to say that it's exciting.
Dealies: The new "thing" or "doo-hicky", etc.
Sweet Dealies: A specific thing is quite exciting.
Super Sweet Dealies: Something is AMAZINGINGLY exciting. (Thanks Carl!)
Champion: A certain person is a champion if they are able to succeed in amazing feats and/or are able to do something that I cannot.
Champion-tastic: Being particularily like a champion.
Oh dear: A sigh. Shaking of head at the absurdity of the situation.
Kweet: A superposition between "cool" and "sweet". I once tried to say "cool" and "sweet dealy" at the same time and it came out as kweet.
Well, that's all that I can think of at this moment... so if there are anymore, just tell me and I will add them - even though I say them all the time, doesn't mean I always keep track :p
