Oh, Silliness.

I am in a state of mourning. We're taking down our Christmas Tree and all its decorations tonight. How sad! I love this tree - it's a wonderful addition to our living room. It doesn't matter that it's already 3 days past Epiphany (the day that marks the end of the Christmas season) or that soon the tree will die. It's so cool! I wish I had a sweet picture of it...

I also got to be the Orc Overseer today. Anne was the Mouth of Sauron and my dog was ironically the eye of Sauron. We got to relay the message to my brother from my mum that he needed to clean his room and do his homework. So, this is me:
"What news from Mordor, my Lord? What does the eye command?"

Oh, I'm such a nerd. haha. For the record, I strongly dislike cover letters. Or writing them at least. And my dog can pretend to do back flips whilst losing her balance. Oh, cute eye of Sauron.

Oh, Christmas!

Michelle, you're quite lucky - Thanks to your request, I will update my blog, even if it's somewhat token.

Life is fine - it's hard not to be when there is still a week left until school starts... It will be glorious! It means that I'll be able to catch up with friends and work a bit for my mum (for she bought me a new pair of skates and so this is the way that she will be paid back :P) and hopefully go and buy some or all of my text books.

On the weekend my family went out to my cabin - it was fun! I'd have to say that one of my favourite moments was making this video with my brother for atom 12 (basically the lowest level of hockey for ages 8-10, I think) of how to improve their skating "to make it to the next level" (atom 11) haha. It's a hoot. Plus, there was lots of llamas, food and random excitement that comes when my family is together and there is hockey. Two more things: (1) I dressed up and played psuedo hockey for the first time in my life and (2) Ian's parents and grandpa came out to my cabin, which was eventful.

Now that it's January, I get to/need to start to think and act about stuff in my church - I have volunteered to help try and start a pseudo youth group to keep the token younger aged people still interested in going to church... But it means that it will be a lot of work and questioning, because I've never really been apart of a youth group (except for TEC) or done anything like this... It'll be interesting to say in the least. So prayer for me and that would be lovely as I myself may have some ideas, but it will only work if it's God's plans and ideas as well.

Now to end this exciting post with some pictures from Christmas:

My Mum, John, Anne, myself and my Dad. (notice my pretty new black sweater! :o) )

I just couldn't control my hunger for my Christmas Dinner!

This is what Christmas Dinner looked like - or at least my sister's! It was tasty! :o)

PS. I got 95% on my circuits finals! WOW! I wish the rest were so good! haha.

PPS. Happy New Year to all of you! May 2007 bring you peace, joy and remind you of your priorities in life (and help sort them out)! All the best! :o)
